C.J. Gibson - Biography

CJ has been in the media production industry for over 10 years.  He graduated at Kingtec Campus, Kentville, Nova Scotia from a technical radio & television broadcasting program with an honors Diploma and received a top achiever award for his video production abilities in technical television.

Initially he was drawn to the radio industry where he worked at a Top 40 FM station as an on air personality hosting live evenings shows and eventually afternoon drive and live request shows.  His love for audio production in radio transformed over time to include advanced video production as well.  He has since furthered his career by working at several production companies across Canada including Emmy Award® Winning, Partners In Motion, where he was a full time editor and writer.  He helped create and edit a television series entitled Very Odd Jobs, and assisted in other television series such as Disasters of the Century & Trading Spaces.

In the spring of 2002, he accepted a video producer position at the The RCMP Training Academy, Depot Division in Regina Saskatchewan.  He was later contracted exclusively by the Government of Canada to produce a video entitled Depot: A Center of Excellence which has been circulated to all RCMP detachments across Canada and is used as the official recruiting tool for the entire Royal Canadian Mounted Police force.

He has since formed and operated his own company Mediamax Interactive that focuses on affordable, high quality visual acquisition and production for a variety of corporate audiences.  He has worked all across Canada and has also provided freelance services for various companies in the United States.

He currently resides in Regina, Saskatchewan and is the owner and operator of Mediamax Interactive.
